Families may receive clothing and supplies for new child placements and growing children, and is a resource for ALL of the children in your home. Our goal is to support, encourage and equip your family to continue to do the great work you are doing!

Foster Kent Kids Foster Kent Kids comprises staff from WMPC, Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS), and staff from the five private foster care agencies in Kent County: Bethany Christian Services, Catholic Charities West Michigan, D.A. Blodgett-St. John’s, Samaritas, and Wellspring Lutheran Services. Our goal is to recruit foster parents within Kent County and walk alongside and support our current foster parents.
Court Appointed Special Advocates of Kent County (CASA) Case worker completes referral. You can request a volunteer who will investigate, facilitate, advocate and monitor services for children in foster care. CASA volunteers present first-hand information and observations in court to help judges make the very best decisions about children’s futures.
*The Local Church - Belong Project The Belong Project is a ministry of TLC dedicated to supporting, serving, and coming alongside Foster and Adoptive families. We aim to provide each family with a duffel bag, a meal, and a word of encouragement within 48 hours of placement.
*We Foster Faith Fostering Faith is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that hosts a respite program for families with children in foster care, ages 3 years old through 5th grade once a week during the school year. (located in Zeeland)

AYA Youth Collective AYA Youth Collective creates safe spaces for youth in crisis to belong, be themselves and build a future. We create circles of support for 14- to 24-year-olds facing homelessness or instability—from drop-in opportunities to rest, recharge and meet everyday needs in a caring community to safe, affordable housing with peers and mentors who partner in their transition to stability. We are here to help young people connect to the resources, relationships, and housing they need at any point on their journey.

West Michigan Partnership for Children Facilitates and oversees foster care services for all foster care agencies in Kent County.
